Mistye Taylor, MD
Dr. Taylor has been in women’s healthcare for 14 years. She graduated from Meharry Medical College, School of Medicine in 2006. Dr. Taylor always puts her patients first, even if it means cancelling a trip to Disney with her kids to bring a new life into this world! She never misses an opportunity to get to know her patients better, unless of course she is running out of office for an emergency delivery or surgery.
Growing up, Dr. Taylor always knew she wanted to become a doctor, but it was not until she was in medical school and delivered her first baby during OB/GYN rotation that she knew where she was meant to be. After her residency, she found her way to Decatur, AL and worked in a practice at Parkway Medical Center before establishing her own at Stonecrest hospital here in Smyrna, TN.
Dr. Taylor has been back here in her hometown since 2015. For the last 6 years she has provided care for people here at Stonecrest. Her favorite part of her job is bringing a new life into this world, although she does specialize in gynecological surgery as well.
In her spare time, she loves to travel with her husband and two children. On her off days you can find her enjoying her favorite drink (Starbucks coffee), shopping at Nordstrom, or stopping by Crumbl for a fresh cookie! She loves Game of Thrones, so if you ever run into her, be sure to tell her, “Winter is Coming”.
We think you will love it here- and she looks forward to meeting you and being there throughout every new season of your life.
